Thank you to 76/Conoco Phillips, a long-time supporter of the Seafair & 76 Special People's Holiday Cruise. In 2008, the Holiday Cruise was the highlight of the holidays for more than 2,000 developmentally disabled adults. Hosted on over 300 volunteered powerboats this festive cruise of Lake Washington & Lake Union was the perfect way to start the giving season.
BECU, a supporter of our education initiatives, also prides themselves in providing resources for financial counseling and student services. In 2009, the Seafair BECU Ambassador Program will grant six high school students $1,000 college scholarships to the university of their choice and fund a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Kobe, Japan.
