A gift from the Seafair Boating Community and the Seafair Foundation to our developmentally disabled community.
Nearly 400 boaters will decorate their boats in a festive display of lights and welcome guests aboard at various docks and yacht clubs around the area. Once on board, guests are treated to snacks and beverages provided by participating boat owners and skippers, as well as entertainment and visits from Santa Claus as they cruise for two-hours through the Mountlake Cut and near the 520 bridge. Simultaneous cruises take place in Bremerton, Tacoma and Olympia.
Registration Dress warm for the day, be sure to have a waterproof jacket and rubber-soled shoes. Lifejackets are required and will be supplied by boat operators at the event. Light snacks will be served on the Cruise.
Please email Seafair for more information.
Volunteer Your Boat or Time - December 5 & 6 Passengers will begin loading at various dock locations at approximately 2:30 p.m. Departure times vary by dock location. The Holiday Cruise is a meaningful event for all who attend and as participation increases we need your help to accommodate each guest. Volunteer today! If you would like to volunteer your boat for this holiday event, please fill out the Boat Registation & Hold Harmless form and mail or fax to the Seafair office. Contact Seafair for more information. All participating boats must be power boats at least 26 feet in length. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate sailboats in the Holiday Cruise. If you are affiliated with a yacht club, please contact your club for additional information. If you are not currently affiliated or your club does not participate, please contact the Seafair office at (206) 728-0123 ext. 117 or email info@seafair.com to register your boat. The Tacoma Holiday Cruise needs more boats to volunteer as well as people to help with the event. Please contact Jessica Vargo with Metro Parks Tacoma at (253) 594-7902 for more information.
